Regarding Young Thug possibly snitching, Lil Zay admitted he hadn’t fully listened to the audio but criticized any cooperation with law enforcement. He voiced disappointment in how street narratives overshadow music, urging artists to focus more on their craft than on glorifying violence. On Gunna’s plea deal admitting YSL was a criminal gang, Lil Zay called it “nuts,” explaining why Young Thug grew to hate Gunna afterward. Despite the drama, Lil Zay revealed he still listens to Young Thug’s music and believes the culture needs to shift away from criminal glorification to break destructive cycles.
