Gloria recalled how the environment around Death Row’s Suge Knight was “heavy,” with armed men instilling a palpable tension that made Aaron visibly nervous. Despite the pressure, Tupac’s presence was a calming influence. Gloria described Tupac as “a breath of fresh air” who cared deeply for Aaron and offered guidance, especially towards her as a pregnant woman. While Aaron never officially signed with Death Row, and the deal collapsed after Tupac’s tragic death, Gloria emphasized that the label was poised to become a powerhouse. Ultimately, the unsafe atmosphere led Aaron to distance himself from the label’s intense environment.
