Louis Ziskin detailed his massive ecstasy trafficking operation, which included shipping millions of pills across the globe using various methods such as FedEx, air cargo, sea containers, and private jets. Ziskin explained a strategic approach: rather than shipping narcotics overseas (which risked losing cash returns and exposing a paper trail), he traded cocaine directly for pills. This trade, involving 32,000 pills per kilogram, optimized profits and minimized legal risks.
He revealed the international supply chain, involving former Soviet scientists who initially synthesized the substance, with refining and pill pressing mainly occurring in Belgium and the Netherlands. Chinese suppliers provided the oil used in production. Ziskin also exposed innovative smuggling tactics, like using bonded warehouses in Korea and disguising shipments with stationery to evade customs.
