Lil Zay Osama revealed that he and Sean “Diddy” Combs were locked up in the same jail complex, though Diddy was kept in protective custody on the other side of the building. Lil Zay described the intensified atmosphere caused by Diddy’s frequent complaints about jail conditions, which drew heavy federal attention and raids throughout the facility. Zay also discussed his time in federal prison, where he crossed paths with Bishop Whitehead and maintained respect despite the controversies surrounding Bishop’s conviction. Notably, Lil Zay addressed confrontations with Gangster Disciples (GD) inmates who challenged him over his claims of GDK in his music.
