Lil Meech has addressed a series of explosive claims made by social media personality Celina Powell, who alleged that the actor and rapper had a secret relationship, was struggling financially, and battling substance addiction.

On Sunday (Sept. 22), Powell took to her Instagram Stories to share a series of posts accusing Lil Meech — whose real name is Demetrius Flenory Jr. — of living rent-free in Floyd Mayweather’s apartment with his father, being unable to afford meals, and abusing pills and lean. She also claimed she personally connected him with a marijuana supplier because he “couldn’t afford to get high.”

“Mind you he living in Floyd Mayweather's apt for free w his daddy cuz they can't afford rent,” Powell wrote in one post, according to a screenshot shared by DJ Akademiks. “I cared for you like you were my son, you couldn't even afford meals. He’s 10 pills deep today, he prob forgot he was with me and that’s why he said cap... cause ain’t no way.”

In another post, Powell accused the BMF star of abusing prescription drugs and claimed he told her that 50 Cent was “bullying” him while he was in rehab. She also shared a video in which a man, allegedly Lil Meech, can be heard apologizing and pleading with her to delete certain content to protect his reputation.

The drama quickly spread across social media, prompting Lil Meech to issue a brief response on his own Instagram Story. “I can't even be mad this what we on. Go lock in with my people and go verify,” he wrote, including a Linktree link leading to a page titled “Plugs Choice La.” In a follow-up post, he promoted his BMF private chat, suggesting he might respond further to the situation there.

50 Cent, who serves as executive producer for the hit STARZ series BMF, also chimed in, seemingly amused by the controversy. “PLEASE, Please, please baby please stop this is my reputation. BMF done show over, but y’all street. So you know get it out the mud,” he wrote.

Powell’s claims arrive shortly after the conclusion of BMF’s fourth season, which wrapped in August 2025. The show, based on the real-life Black Mafia Family organization founded by Lil Meech’s father, Demetrius “Big Meech” Flenory Sr., has been a major success for STARZ, with Lil Meech playing the role of his father.

Outside of BMF, Lil Meech has been steadily building his acting career with roles such as Travis in HBO’s Euphoria and Quan in the animated sitcom Good Times: Black Again. He also appeared in the 2022 drama film Taurus, alongside Machine Gun Kelly, Megan Fox, and Maddie Hasson.

As of now, Lil Meech has not issued a detailed statement addressing Powell’s allegations, leaving fans and followers waiting to see if he will provide more clarity through his private chat or future posts.
