Cam’ron has made it clear that there’s no reconciliation in sight between him and Dame Dash amid their escalating feud and Dash’s threat of a $300 million defamation lawsuit. Speaking on his Talk with Flee podcast, Cam explained that he’s reached a “point of no return” with Dame, saying the fallout was unnecessary and became personal after Dash publicly aired their issues instead of addressing things privately.

According to Cam'ron, all he initially did was not pick up the phone, but Dame repeatedly went online seeking what Cam described as “internet sympathy.” He revealed that he was even the one who set up Dame’s Instagram account and admitted he regrets introducing Dame to smoking weed, claiming Dame’s personality has drastically changed since then.

The Dipset rapper said he’s been in disagreements with Dame before, but they were always handled behind the scenes. What crossed the line this time, according to Cam, was when Dame began attacking his character and bringing up sensitive personal moments, including a claim that Cam isn’t confrontational and was punched in the face in the past.

“That’s when I knew it was personal,” Cam said, adding that while he can take typical industry jabs, hearing those comments from someone he’s been close to since childhood cut deeper. He also called the situation “embarrassing” given his other business ventures, saying partners and collaborators have questioned what’s going on, which has caused unnecessary complications.

Cam also took aim at Dame’s ongoing public battles, noting that Dash has a history of taking shots at people like Jay-Z and Biggs, even though they haven’t spoken to him in years and refuse to respond. Cam believes Dame won’t stop any time soon because the feud is bringing him more attention than he’s had in a long while. He recalled a Zoom call involving Jay-Z, Biggs, and lawyers regarding the sale of Dame’s stake in Roc-A-Fella, where Jay and Biggs sat silently while Dame attempted to provoke them — a reflection, Cam suggested, of how little they wanted to engage with him.

Despite acknowledging that Dame will likely keep the feud alive, Cam said he won’t continue going back and forth after addressing it on his show. “I really got other s*** to do,” he stated, emphasizing that this drama only sets him back from the bigger moves he’s working toward.

While he admitted he might throw in a slick comment occasionally, Cam said he won’t be drawn into a prolonged online battle. “You’re not going to win on the internet,” he said, pointing out that he’s been in the game too long and doesn’t see any value in a drawn-out war of words.
