Authorities are continuing to investigate the shocking death of 15-year-old Celeste Rivas, whose dismembered body was found earlier this week inside a Tesla registered to rising music star D4vd. As police work to piece together what happened, one of Celeste’s former teachers is drawing attention online after speaking out about what he claims to know about her connection to the singer.

According to the teacher, who once taught Celeste at Lakeland Village School in Lake Elsinore, California, Celeste’s disappearance dates back to early 2024. In a video recorded during one of his classes, he showed students a photo of himself with Celeste and explained that she had first gone missing after allegedly meeting D4vd — whom he mistakenly referred to as a rapper — on social media. The teacher claimed Celeste ran away to Hollywood to be with the musician, but authorities eventually located her and returned her home. He said she vanished again in May 2024, which was the last time he heard about her until news broke of her death.

The teacher, who now works at a different Southern California school, clarified that he shared Celeste’s story with students as a “cautionary tale” about the dangers of online interactions. He also claimed to know another teen connected to D4vd, who was allegedly seen speaking with the singer in a Lake Elsinore parking lot just minutes from Celeste’s home. While his claims have stirred up online discussion, none of his statements have been confirmed by law enforcement.

On Wednesday evening, LAPD detectives executed a search warrant at the Hollywood Hills home where D4vd had been staying, reportedly combing the property for evidence, including traces of blood. Police have not named a suspect or person of interest in the case as of now. Celeste’s tragic death has left her local community reeling, with investigators working to determine how a teenage girl’s disappearance ended in such a disturbing discovery.
