Dame Dash has escalated his feud with Cam’ron by threatening a $300 million lawsuit over claims of defamation, harassment, and dragging his family into their dispute.
On Thursday night (Sept. 18), Dash posted a three-part Instagram carousel announcing the legal move. The first slide declared, “Dame Dash and family office sends demand letter to Cam’ron for $300 million lawsuit.” The second showed a text message in which Dash told Cam’ron that the situation had “broke my heart” and said he would no longer engage with him directly. The final slide featured a legal notice listing accusations including defamation, harassment, conspiracy, and unjust enrichment. The letter alleged that Cam’ron publicly called Dash a liar, admitted on video to participating in a “lineup” meant to damage Dash’s reputation, and targeted Dash’s partner and children, causing them “discomfort.”
In his caption, Dash made it clear that he was taking a non-violent approach to handling the situation, despite his anger over his family being involved. “I never hustled with @mr_camron — he’s a civilian — but he’s f###### with my family office and he’s now made my wife and two of my sons uncomfortable,” Dash wrote. “We’ll just have to let a judge decide like businessmen. And I don’t find it funny.” He ended with a pointed warning: “I hope you don’t have any houses in your name — they’re about to be mine.”
The lawsuit threat followed a heated exchange earlier in the day when Cam’ron made a deeply personal attack against Dash’s son, Lucky. “Tell ya unwanted son Lucky how you took 3 DNA tests hoping he wasn’t yours,” Cam’ron commented on Instagram, adding that Dash once made him clean up after a dog to “pay dues.” Dash fired back by posting photos of his son and accusing Cam’ron of violating Harlem’s code by bringing family into their dispute. “Real Harlem n##### don’t bring family into it, but you’re not a real Harlem n####. You’re Fredo @mr_camron,” Dash wrote, referencing a character from The Godfather known for betrayal.
While Dash extended forgiveness to another figure involved in the situation, @bigfenditv, he drew a hard line when it came to his family. “Never let any man go at your family, wife, or kids. Protect them at all costs,” he wrote. With tensions at an all-time high, the once-public feud between two Harlem icons now appears headed toward a courtroom.
