The longstanding feud between 50 Cent and Dame Dash has flared up again—this time over the rights to the classic 2002 crime drama Paid in Full.

On September 8, 50 Cent announced that he had secured the rights to the film, produced by Dash, and revealed plans for a “premium TV show” based on it. The G-Unit mogul also teased that Cam’ron, who starred in the original movie, would serve as an executive producer.

“If you like Godfather of Harlem you’re gonna love this,” 50 wrote on Instagram. “Cam set to executive produce alongside me, if you want in get at him—I’m out of the country.”

Cam’ron confirmed the news with excitement, thanking 50 for the opportunity. “So we’ve been talking about this for a few months now, and it’s almost time. Thx @50cent for the opportunity… We gonna burn this s*** down!!”

But according to Dame Dash, the entire announcement is nothing more than a publicity stunt. During a fiery interview on The Breakfast Club, the Roc-A-Fella co-founder dismissed 50’s claims outright.

“There is no rights to be bought, so I knew he was trolling,” Dash said. He compared 50’s statement to the rapper’s previously announced documentary on Diddy that has yet to surface, telling the hosts, “Yeah right, he’s capping.”

50 wasted no time firing back. In a response posted to Instagram and later circulated by DJ Akademiks, the Queens native accused Dash of lying. “Dame going out bad, I don’t know why he would say I’m capping about anything,” 50 wrote. “Award-winning projects take time,” he added, suggesting the series is indeed in development.

The tension didn’t end there. Cam’ron, who has also been trading barbs with Dash, appeared to distance himself from the back-and-forth by dropping a face-palm emoji in the comments of 50’s post.

Their rift intensified last week when Dash mocked Cam’ron for working under 50’s leadership. “Congratulations Cam, 50 is now your new boss, and you’re proud of it,” Dash quipped.

Cam’ron quickly clapped back. “U really turned into a chatty patty… tagging me every post. N**** get cut out of TV series everyday B, u be aight. U only doing this for clicks, this the most action u got in ya Chanel EVER. You welcome. For now on my lil n****. Lolol. Go to the store for me real quick.”
