The couple, who share a daughter together, were seen in a heated argument outside The Manor hotel in SoHo in the early hours of Friday morning. Their night had begun at designer Mer Alas’ annual New York Fashion Week party, but things took a dramatic turn when tensions between the two boiled over.
Video footage shows Michele, 40, rushing toward Green, 23, as their two friends tried to intervene. At one point, a voice could be heard pleading with the couple to “forgive each other” as the argument spilled out onto the street. Witnesses captured the pair exchanging heated words while walking down the sidewalk, with one friend physically pulling Michele away from Green in an effort to de-escalate the situation. Michele was spotted wearing sheer black leggings, a fitted top, and stiletto heels, while Green sported black leather pants and a matching T-shirt.
Neither Michele nor Green has commented publicly on the argument. However, just hours later, Michele posted a lighthearted Instagram Story showing their toddler daughter walking through the streets of New York. The couple welcomed their daughter in 2023, joining Michele’s two sons from previous relationships.
Michele and Green’s relationship has faced consistent public scrutiny due to their 17-year age gap. Earlier this year, Michele drew criticism for bringing Kniko to one of Green’s games, with many on social media highlighting the awkward dynamic of her eldest son being close in age to her partner.
Despite the chatter, Michele has avoided directly addressing the criticism. Following the release of the argument footage, she responded playfully on Instagram, posting the viral "Jet 2 Holiday" logo and an audio clip declaring, “Nothing beats a Jet 2 holiday,” showing her tendency to maintain a sense of humor even amid controversy.
