Teen Mom alum Jenelle Evans recently revealed a surprising encounter with rap superstar Lil Wayne, sharing details about a private trip that left fans stunned.
During a candid video posted online, Jenelle explained that Lil Wayne personally jumped into her DMs and invited her to Los Angeles just a few months ago. At first, she didn’t believe it was really him — until the rapper FaceTimed her to prove it. After exchanging texts and having what she described as “great conversations,” she agreed to fly out and meet him in person.
“He was really respectful, really nice,” Jenelle said, adding that Wayne’s team treated her well during the visit. “I had to leave my phone at the hotel, which was pretty scary because I didn’t know where I’d end up that night, but everything was fine. His staff are nothing but amazing.”
However, while Jenelle was hoping to build a deeper connection, she quickly realized their intentions didn’t align. She revealed that Wayne seemed ready to take things in a more physical direction right away, while she wanted to start with a dinner date and get to know each other first.
“Did I hook up with him? No. Did he want to? Yes,” Jenelle admitted. “I just said I wanted to go out to dinner and get to know each other first… so I just went back home.”
According to Jenelle, Wayne initially discovered her not because of her Teen Mom fame but through a reel she posted of her New York City trip for her divorce party. She emphasized that he didn’t even realize she was a reality TV star when he first reached out.
While the two parted on good terms, Jenelle made it clear that she values meaningful relationships and wasn’t interested in a casual fling. “I’m more of a person that wants to connect on a deeper level, so I’m not just looking for hookups,” she said.
