Boosie Badazz and Kodak Black are trading words after Kodak called out Boosie’s silence on the ongoing snitching allegations surrounding Young Thug. On Wednesday (Sept. 10), Kodak questioned why Boosie—who’s known for being outspoken on issues of cooperation with authorities—hasn’t spoken up this time. “Where the hell Boosie [at]?” he wrote on Instagram. “Fam was just the spokesman for this s*** is now silent. These n****s bulls***.”

Boosie quickly clapped back on X, saying money plays a role in whether he comments on industry drama.

“Believe me when it’s time to speak on a situation I’m go speak but it’s business. I GET A BAG to speak on these situations,” he wrote, adding that with his current struggles, he shouldn’t even have energy for it. He accused Kodak of still being upset about his past criticism of Kodak’s Tekashi 6ix9ine collaboration, and claimed the move damaged Kodak’s legacy.

The Baton Rouge rapper went even further, taking aim at Kodak’s personal struggles and accusing him of checking into protective custody in prison. “Get off the drugs and go get you some help,” Boosie wrote. “U f***ing the wrong one n****.” Kodak has yet to directly respond to the accusation.

Later, Boosie explained his silence in an Instagram video, saying his focus is on his own legal battles. He pled guilty last year to a federal gun charge after being arrested in San Diego, and prosecutors have recommended a two-year prison sentence. “All this s*** I’m going through right now… I shouldn’t even have no energy for this s***,” he admitted. For now, it seems Boosie is more concerned with his looming case than with industry feuds, though he made it clear he’ll speak on Thug’s situation in his own time.
