Boosie has been receiving heavy pressure from fans to weigh in on the recent drama surrounding Young Thug, including leaked phone calls from when Thug was in jail and his highly discussed interview with Big Bank. During a video shared on social media, Boosie addressed why he’s been silent on the situation — and why he won’t speak on it until the time is right.

According to Boosie, he’s been bombarded with messages from fans demanding that he comment, but he feels no rush to jump into the conversation. “When it’s time for me to speak on anything, I’ma speak on it,” Boosie said. He explained that when someone gives him a proper platform — “puts him on the couch,” as he put it — he’ll share his unfiltered thoughts and keep it real about the situation. Until then, he isn’t interested in discussing Thug’s situation online.

Boosie also hinted that he’s been dealing with serious issues in his own life, saying he has “real gangster sht” going on behind the scenes. Because of that, he doesn’t have the energy to go back and forth on the internet, especially with people he feels are connected to the same forces he’s navigating in his personal life. “I shouldn’t even have no energy for this s***, bro,” he said, urging his real fans to understand that his focus is on more pressing matters.

For now, Boosie is choosing to stay quiet about Young Thug’s leaked calls and his interview, but he made it clear that when the moment comes, he’ll speak his mind openly.
