Finesse2Tymes isn’t letting anyone play with his name — or his ride. The Memphis rapper addressed a viral video circulating online in which a man claimed he had stolen Finesse2Tymes’ Dodge Durango SRT in Chicago. The clip showed the man proudly showing off the vehicle, which was easily identifiable thanks to a key detail: the seats were customized with Finesse2Tymes’ name stitched into them.

In response, Finesse2Tymes jumped on Instagram to set the record straight. The rapper posted a video of himself FaceTiming someone who had the Durango, proving he knew exactly where his car was and wasn’t worried about anyone claiming they had “taken” it. Alongside the video, he shared a fiery message addressing the situation and making it clear that stealing is not the same as hustling.

“Where I come from, we respect TAKERS,” Finesse2Tymes wrote. “They called me lil Debo because I would ‘TAKE SOME.’ U gotta be a roach, sneaky, to steal lol. STEALING ain’t no hustle. N**** ain’t no honor amongst thieves. That lil money don’t never last, and it come wit blood on it. AIN’T NOBODY NEVER TOOK NOTHING FROM ME.”

The rapper went on to explain that while people have stolen from him behind his back, no one has ever strong-armed him directly. “Yes, I have been stolen from, behind my back, while I ain’t looking. But ain’t NO MAN WALK THIS EARTH EVER STRONG ARM Lil Ricky FOR SHYT. TS SUICIDE no tough s***,” he added, ending the message with “Inshallah” and the hashtag #Itsgonetakeuaarmy.
