Young Thug’s personal life is back in the headlines after another leaked jail recording surfaced online — and this time, it’s sparking cheating rumors. The latest audio, which appeared online on September 6, captures the Atlanta rapper discussing a fight with his longtime girlfriend, Mariah the Scientist, seemingly over another woman.
According to the recording, Thug admitted to an argument that began when photos of a woman inside his house surfaced online. At first, he tried to downplay the situation, telling Mariah that the pictures were old. However, he later confessed that they were taken just days before his May 2022 arrest on racketeering charges as part of the sweeping YSL RICO case.
The tone of the conversation and the context of Thug’s words have fueled speculation that he was speaking about cheating on Mariah, adding a dramatic twist to the couple’s relationship.
Mariah, who has been a steadfast supporter of Thug throughout his legal battles, was understandably upset by the revelation. “My baby I was wrong and I’m sorry for what I put u through. U deserved better from me. Thank you for everything and I will do anything to make this work. U showed me what love is and I hope I haven’t lost u forever… everybody leave her out of this please she’s an innocent girl and feels bad about all of this. Please give her peace.”
