Young Thug has made headlines again this week with alleged jail call clips that recently surfaced.
In the audio, Young Thug allegedly touches on the rumored beef between Drake and Metro Boomin, specifically regarding Metro’s 2022 HEROES & VILLAINS track “Trance,” which features Travis Scott, Young Thug, and initially, at one point during its creation, Drake.
According to the clip, Thug seems to understand why Drake wasn’t included on the final version of the track. He claims that Metro cited his mother’s death as part of the reasoning, but ultimately, Thug says the producer wanted control over what made the album’s final tracklist.
While the situation may seem minor, Young Thug allegedly expresses frustration about Drake’s efforts, or perceived lack thereof, in supporting him while he’s incarcerated. In the clip, he reportedly says, “Drake, you Drake, go talk to the president… go pardon him, go do something. Don’t call me talking about, ‘Fix something’ for you to have a song from a na. Man, ain't nobody give a f*** about no song.”
