The string of leaked Young Thug phone calls continues to stir controversy, with the latest clip reportedly capturing the Atlanta rapper criticizing Kendrick Lamar for declining to collaborate with him on his 2023 album, Business Is Business.

In the audio, Thug appears frustrated over what he sees as Lamar’s unwillingness to lend his name to artists outside his own camp. “These n****s too big, like ‘I ain’t doing no features,’ why?” Thug questioned. “Why wouldn’t you wanna do a feature for a superstar?”

He went on to note that Lil Durk, Lil Baby, and himself had all reached out to Kendrick, accusing the Compton rapper of not using his platform to help others. “Put somebody on! It’s okay to run your few hundred M’s up, but who’d you help, though?”

Thug didn’t stop there. Comparing Lamar to Drake, he argued that Kendrick’s lack of collaboration is what will keep him from reaching the same level of global dominance. “That’s why these n****s will never be bigger than Drake, EVER in life,” he said. He also suggested that working with mainstream names like himself, Durk, and Baby would broaden Kendrick’s appeal beyond hardcore hip-hop fans.

The call allegedly included even sharper jabs at Lamar’s artistic circle. Thug mocked Lamar’s low-key social media presence, saying he should “delete his pages” instead of pretending he doesn’t use the internet. He also took a shot at Kendrick’s close collaborator and cousin, Baby Keem, dismissing him as “bullst a Keem.”

The timing of these leaks comes as Thug hints at an announcement, teasing news for August 2 that fans hope could be tied to his long-rumored project, Uy Scuti
