Drake isn’t letting internet speculation about his body go unchecked. The rapper sat down with Bobbi Althoff for her new podcast Not This Again, where she wasted no time asking him about long-running rumors that he’s had work done on his abs and even undergone a BBL.
When asked point-blank if he had ab sculpting done, Drake denied it and pointed to a shirtless photo he shared in June that stirred up the gossip. “I think it was just like I came from the gym. I was sweaty in that pic,” he explained, adding that he may have exaggerated the image with editing. “Maybe I heightened the saturation or something on it. I hit it too hard. They don’t look like that.” Drake even recalled showing Althoff his abs in person before the interview, joking that she asked to see them as soon as he landed.
The conversation eventually turned to another rumor that’s followed him: the so-called “BBL Drizzy” nickname. The moniker went viral last year when Metro Boomin leaned into the joke by releasing the diss track “BBL Drizzy.” When Althoff asked about the chatter, Drake played along, saying, “They call me BBL Drizzy, so that’s true. I don’t know if my wagon looked crazy when I walked in here, but did it?” Althoff quipped that she hadn’t been paying attention.
