Yak Gotti was found not guilty on all charges in the high-profile YSL RICO trial, marking a significant legal victory amidst intense scrutiny. Yak Gotti expressed relief and gratitude upon his acquittal. However, the victory was bittersweet: he could not immediately leave jail due to new charges filed against him, including aggravated assault, aggravated battery, and involvement in a riot while incarcerated. These charges stem from an incident inside the county jail during his detention.

Yak Gotti later pled guilty to aggravated battery, receiving a 12-year, nine-month sentence with credit for time served and five years of supervised release. Despite being released in April and technically free, Yak Gotti remains on probation and must adhere to strict conditions, including refraining from gang-related activity. He emphasized his focus on moving forward and staying out of trouble as he adjusts to life post-trial.
