Highlighting the social aspect of poker games and card playing within Black communities, Boosie urged against criminalizing such activities happening in private homes. He also touched on how gambling has been a staple in sports circles, mentioning NBA players and Michael Jordan’s well-known betting habits as examples of “fun” gambling that doesn’t warrant legal action.
