Young Thug is pushing back against claims that he cooperated with law enforcement after an alleged interrogation video surfaced online.
The leaked audio, which reportedly dates back two years, appears to feature the Atlanta rapper in conversation with detectives about crimes allegedly involving people in his circle. At one point in the clip, the man—believed to be Thug—mentions Peewee Roscoe, the associate accused of shooting at Lil Wayne’s tour bus in 2015. Still, Thug seemed cautious with his words, stating, “They said Roscoe, but I don't wanna block out y’all's case by saying Roscoe ain't do that.”
After the recording began circulating, Thug responded directly to the chatter on Wednesday, posting to social media: “They didn’t play my interrogation video in court cause I helped my brada #Ratwhere?”
He also addressed separate rumors suggesting he had provided information about a murder. Writing on X, Thug dismissed the claims, saying: “This motion got filed cause the detective lied and said I made a statement in back of a police car stupid 😂 that never ever happened.”
He doubled down on his loyalty, adding: “Stop trying to make me one of those boys 😂 death before dishonor this way kids.”
Peewee Roscoe later weighed in as well, defending Young Thug, stating, “Jeff clean as Listerine, man. Clean as ivory soap, ya feel me?” He emphasized that Thug “kept it silent” and “kept it overly real.”
