Tiffany Haddish is setting the record straight — she hasn’t secretly welcomed a baby. The 45-year-old comedian used her guest-hosting spot on Jimmy Kimmel Live! Tuesday night (Aug. 19) to address the wave of rumors that spread after she posted a photo on Instagram with Hollywood Unlocked founder Jason Lee and a baby.
“There is a personal matter I feel must be addressed,” Haddish told the audience during her monologue. “Two weeks ago, I put something on the Instagram that made everyone go a little crazy.” She explained that the caption on the photo, “Cats out the bag,” made fans and even her own relatives believe she had become a mother. “It’s kind of insulting,” she joked, “because they are all living in my house and blocking me from getting any d***.”
To clear things up, Haddish revealed that the baby in the photo wasn’t hers at all. Instead, she quipped that she and Lee had decided to make the child their “godbaby.” When she teased Lee about the idea of having a real baby together, he quickly reminded her, “And I’m still gay,” drawing laughter from the studio audience.
Haddish, never one to shy away from a punchline, wrapped up the topic by listing her “potential baby daddies,” name-dropping stars like Tom Cruise, Jason Momoa, Brad Pitt, Pedro Pascal, and even New York Yankees outfielder Giancarlo Stanton.
She delivered the jokes with her trademark flair: “Aquaman can come swim in these waters,” she said of Momoa, while declaring that Pitt could “press any of my Benjamin Buttons anytime.” The comedian ended the segment by inviting fans to participate in her bit, saying, “If you or someone you know wants to put a baby in me, please reach out on social media using the hashtag #PastramiMommy.”
