Netflix may be preparing to step back into the boxing spotlight with another high-profile crossover fight. According to Ring Magazine, YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul is set to face undefeated lightweight star Gervonta “Tank” Davis in an exhibition bout on November 15 at State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia — exactly one year after Paul’s controversial matchup with Mike Tyson.

The rumor gained traction after the official Netflix Turkey account briefly posted the same details before deleting the announcement. However, the reported date raises questions, as the Atlanta arena is already booked for comedian Nate Bargatze’s “Big Dumb Eyes” tour that evening. Paul’s promotional partner, Nakisa Bidarian, also appeared to cast doubt on the reports, saying, “Amazing how ‘sources’ have it confirmed but have it wrong.”

If the fight does happen, it would mark Netflix’s second major boxing venture in less than a year. The streaming giant, which boasts 300 million subscribers, first made headlines when it broadcast Paul vs. Tyson in Arlington, Texas. That bout fueled debate over celebrity boxing but also delivered record-breaking viewership, setting the stage for more blockbuster-style events.

For Paul (12-1, 7 KOs), the potential Davis showdown comes after talks with former heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua fell apart. Paul is coming off a career-best win in June, when he defeated former WBC middleweight champ Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. by unanimous decision to crack the world rankings. Davis (30-0-1, 28 KOs), meanwhile, was expected to rematch Lamont Roach following their controversial draw in March but faced legal setbacks this summer before charges were ultimately dropped.

Stylistically, Paul would bring a significant size advantage — possibly more than 50 pounds — while Davis enters as the vastly more skilled and experienced fighter. The clash of styles and star power could make for compelling theater, even if the fight is ultimately an exhibition. For now, fans will have to wait for official confirmation from Netflix or Most Valuable Promotions to see if this spectacle becomes reality.
