Sara Rivers, a former contestant on MTV’s Making the Band, is speaking out after a judge dismissed some claims in her lawsuit against Sean “Diddy” Combs. Despite the ruling, Rivers insists her case is far from over.

In a video message shared this weekend, Rivers clarified that while certain charges were dropped, the most significant allegation — sexual assault — remains active.

“Today, the courts dismissed some of the claims, but not all of them,” she said. “The most serious and personal claim, sexual assault of Mr. Combs, it remains very much alive, y’all. This fight was never about headlines. It’s about truth, accountability, and justice.”

Rivers emphasized that her motivation extends beyond her personal battle with Diddy, framing the case as a stand for survivors everywhere.

“For me and for every other survivor that has been told that they should just give up — I will not be silenced, and I will not be intimidated,” she declared. “I will see this thing through.”

The singer also pushed back against online critics and those she claims have spread false narratives to discredit her. “For those that have been trying to defame me with those false stories, the truth will be coming. Best believe it,” she warned.

In a moment that mixed defiance with humor, Rivers even threw a jab at Diddy’s camp: “Don’t think because y’all got all that unlimited amount of baby oil that y’all going to slide through this. Come on.”

While the partial dismissal may seem like a setback, Rivers made it clear her legal fight is ongoing — and that she has no plans of backing down.
