Gwinnett County police are exploring the possibility that Atlanta rapper T-Hood’s shooting death may have been an act of self-defense.

Authorities confirmed the suspected shooter is the son of Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta stars Kirk and Rasheeda Frost. According to police, the incident stemmed from a domestic disturbance at a residence in unincorporated Snellville, Georgia. Investigators say a female victim sustained physical injuries during the altercation.

The shooter reportedly arrived at the home after the dispute had already occurred and distanced himself from the residence before the shooting took place. Police say he remained at the scene afterward and has been fully cooperating with investigators, along with other witnesses.

T-Hood — born Tevin Hood — was shot Friday at his Georgia home. He was transported to a local hospital, where he later died from his injuries. His mother confirmed to TMZ that he was the victim and claimed she knew the identity of the shooter.

The investigation remains ongoing as detectives work to determine whether the fatal shooting was a criminal act or justified under Georgia’s self-defense laws.
