The incident unfolded on Sunday (August 10) when law enforcement responded to what turned out to be a false emergency call. Social media footage from the event showed DDG being calmly escorted into a police vehicle, followed later by clips of him walking free to the sound of cheers from spectators.

One of the tournament’s hosts later confirmed that DDG was unharmed and released after officers determined the arrest was unfounded.
