Shedeur Sanders made his NFL preseason debut on Friday night, and while his performance on the field turned heads, it was what happened afterward that got people talking. The Cleveland Browns rookie quarterback, fresh off an impressive outing against the Carolina Panthers, used a post-game moment to directly address one of his critics — and he did it with a smile.
In a video shared by Well Off Media, Sanders can be seen approaching Cleveland reporter and radio personality Tony Grossi in the tunnels of Bank of America Stadium. With an upbeat tone, Sanders playfully called out Grossi for what he felt was consistently negative coverage.
“Tony, I be hoping you have something positive to say about me,” Sanders told him. “You only say negative stuff about me. And I’m like, ‘I ain’t do nothing to you.’ Come on, what I do? What’d I do to you, Tony?”
The lighthearted exchange ended with a quick laugh before Sanders headed to the locker room.
