In a recent interview with RealToonTV, Terrance “Gangsta” Williams—Birdman’s brother—shared his thoughts on the viral headlines claiming Toni Braxton filed for divorce just two weeks after marrying Cash Money Records co-founder Bryan “Birdman” Williams. The alleged whirlwind marriage and sudden divorce had social media buzzing, but Gangsta Williams is calling foul on the entire story. According to him, there’s no way Birdman would’ve tied the knot without longtime business partner and brother Ronald "Slim" Williams being in the loop.
“Bird not doing nothing without Slim knowing,” Williams said, pointing out that he checked with people inside Birdman’s circle and came up empty. “I got plants in everybody’s camp. Ain’t nobody said anything about a wedding. Somebody would’ve snuck a picture or said something.” He also questioned the logistics of a courthouse wedding going unnoticed, especially for someone as high-profile as Birdman.
Williams, who described Toni Braxton as a “sweet woman” and recalled speaking with her after his release from prison, still insisted the marriage rumors didn’t add up. “I just don’t believe it happened,” he said. While he left some room for possibility—acknowledging Birdman tends to keep relationships private—he emphasized that without any concrete proof, he believes the whole situation was “a bunch of bull.”
The rumors first made headlines in late 2024, with reports that Braxton had filed for divorce just days after the wedding and was seeking a massive financial settlement. However, the divorce petition was dismissed in January, fueling even more speculation.
