Gerard, the son of notorious mobster Sammy “The Bull” Gravano, reveals he had no clue about his father’s criminal life until his arrest. Growing up, Gerard believed his dad was involved in construction, as Sammy kept a seemingly normal family routine—working out, going to the office, and being home for dinner daily. Gerard describes a peaceful home life with no hint of violence or mafia ties, sheltered especially by his mother. It wasn’t until his teenage years, around the time of Sammy’s arrest and subsequent cooperation with authorities, that Gerard began to realize the truth. Even then, he distanced himself from the media frenzy, focusing on family. Despite the chaos outside, the family maintained a tight, close-knit bond.
