Slim Thug is clapping back at critics after coming under fire for recent remarks that some interpreted as shade toward Megan Thee Stallion and her new relationship with NBA star Klay Thompson.
In a heated video posted online, the Houston rap veteran made it crystal clear that there’s no bad blood between him and Megan—and definitely no romantic interest.
“I have never, on my kids, actually tried to talk to the Stallion,” Slim said. “I’ve always hyped her up—she’s the Houston motherf***ing queen. You dumb.”
The rapper also pushed back against suggestions that he was jealous or bitter. “Never did I think I wanted to pay for gifts for a Stallion. She’s up there with Beyoncé—you think I’m trying to holler at the Stallion? You stupid,” he said bluntly.
Some fans had accused Slim of shading Klay Thompson as well, but Slim insists that wasn’t the case. “Where did I talk about Klay? I said I can’t afford to buy gifts like that. I know Klay can. Did I say he couldn’t? You dumb.”
Slim made it clear that he has nothing but respect for both Megan and Klay. “Why would I hate on her? She called me to be in her video. She had me perform when she came to Houston,” he pointed out. “I salute her and Klay. I’m happy to see everybody happy.”
He also reminded viewers of his longstanding connection to Megan’s team, specifically her manager T. Farris, whom he worked with on the Houston anthem “Still Tippin’.”
“This ain’t even about the Stallion,” Slim emphasized. “This is about anybody who ever told me no. I’m just trolling half the time. Y’all just slow.”
He closed the video with one final message for the haters: “They say I’m jealous? Shut the f*** up, man.”
