In an Instagram Story post, Marcus revealed that the deaths of two childhood icons inspired him to reconnect with his family, including his father.
“Went THROUGH IT yesterday realizing that 2 icons of my childhood passed this week,” Marcus wrote. “Reached out to both my parents & my siblings cuz life is short and it’s important to spend time with the people you love.”
Though Marcus has kept much of his relationship with Michael private, this message suggests there has been some distance between them. His words highlight the importance of family connection, especially during difficult times.
Alongside this, Marcus shared that he nearly broke his sobriety but is now celebrating 107 days clean, showing a commitment to personal growth as he works on rebuilding relationships.
