He clarified that his cooperation was transparent and not a clandestine betrayal, distinguishing himself from informants who remain undercover indefinitely. Despite the stigma, Gravano remains unfazed by public commentary, noting that criticism often comes with his high-profile past, which includes involvement in some of the Mafia's most notorious hits. Gravano maintained that, unlike others, he faced his legal battles head-on and served time without further compromising his integrity.
