Memphis rapper GloRilla is setting the record straight after headlines surfaced about her recent felony drug arrest in Georgia. Taking to Twitter, GloRilla shared her side of the story — and according to her, the real crime is being ignored.

“CRAZY‼️ My house got home invaded Saturday while I was in Indianapolis performing for the WNBA All-Star Game,” she wrote. “And instead of focusing on finding the suspects they focus on some cannabis.”

GloRilla made it clear she wasn’t busted in any kind of drug sting and emphasized a few key facts: her house was robbed, she wasn’t there when it happened, and yet she’s the one facing charges.

“Long story short my house gets home invaded and I’m the only one that gets arrested. So that’s tea 🤷🏼‍♀️”

This comes after Georgia authorities charged the rapper, born Gloria Woods, with felony marijuana possession and possession of a Schedule I controlled substance. Law enforcement claims they obtained a search warrant for her home after detecting the smell of marijuana during the investigation into the break-in.

Despite the legal drama, GloRilla is still expected to perform at the Globe Bash concert at FedEx Forum, continuing her run as one of Memphis’ brightest stars.

Fans and fellow artists have rallied around her on social media, questioning how a home invasion led to an arrest for the person whose home was actually violated. GloRilla doesn’t seem fazed, letting her tweet speak for itself — and keeping her focus on the stage.
