Memphis rapper GloRilla, whose real name is Gloria Woods, is making headlines after being arrested on felony drug charges in Georgia. The breakout star was released on bond following the incident, which reportedly stemmed from a robbery at her Georgia residence on Saturday (July 20) while she was out of town.

According to a statement from her legal team, GloRilla's home was broken into during her absence. Concerned family members contacted law enforcement to report the incident. When deputies arrived on the scene, they claimed to have smelled marijuana and subsequently obtained a search warrant for the property.

The Forsyth County Sheriff's Office later charged the rapper with felony possession of marijuana, as well as possession of a Schedule I controlled substance. Details about the exact substances found have not been released publicly.

Despite the arrest, GloRilla is still expected to perform at the highly anticipated Globe Bash concert, taking place tomorrow at the FedEx Forum in her hometown of Memphis.
