Controversial internet personality Celina Powell is once again in the headlines — this time issuing an apology to rapper G Herbo, years after allegedly robbing him.
During a recent interview with FadamGotDaJuice, G Herbo shared a story from the past involving Powell, accusing her of stealing from him while staying at a hotel.
“She stole all our s***,” Herbo recalled. “My cousin left her in one of the rooms that had all my s*** in there. We threatened her… we got all the s*** back.”
The situation escalated further, with Herbo adding, “Then she wound up having a warrant… b**** went to jail, all type of s***. She called the police on us, and she had a warrant and went to jail. And the police let us get our s*** back.”
Shortly after the clip went viral, Celina Powell responded via The Shade Room, offering an apology and some context of her own.
“My side of the story is I was young and made a mistake,” Powell said. “I was mad because they left me while he went to his show and didn’t invite me — so me and my friend robbed him.”
She continued, “I still don’t know how he found my address either lol, but I do want to make it clear that I was YOUNG and I sincerely apologize to him.”
Though Herbo didn’t appear too bothered by the situation in his retelling, Powell’s public apology is rare for someone known more for sparking controversy than squashing it.
