YSL Mondo recently sat down with the It’s Up There podcast, where he addressed growing rumors that Atlanta rapper Ralo cooperated with federal authorities. While many have tried to push a “rat” narrative, Mondo made it clear he hasn’t seen any paperwork confirming those claims. “I didn’t see what Ralo did,” he said, adding that he's stayed out of the drama out of respect for Ralo, who he considers his Muslim brother.

Mondo pointed out the selective outrage often seen in the streets and online, noting how some artists get a pass while others are dragged for alleged cooperation. He explained that even if someone doesn't directly send another person to jail, providing information can still lead to investigations and consequences—calling it a form of betrayal that the streets don’t forget. Still, Mondo emphasized he wouldn’t disown Ralo based on rumors. “He ain’t doing street s*** anyway,” he said. “That’s still my Muslim brother.”

He also cleared up confusion over a viral snippet that many believed featured Lil Baby dissing Ralo. According to Mondo, the verse actually came from his friend Eman, who had just come home after a 10-year prison sentence. The clip was screen recorded during an Instagram Live and taken out of context.

Before closing, Mondo opened up about personal struggles, including public narratives from his daughter’s mother suggesting he’s not involved. He pushed back emotionally, stating he's always supported his children financially and emotionally. “You still a mother,” he said. “Don’t think ‘cause I’m the daddy, I’m supposed to do everything.” Despite the criticism, Mondo remains focused on his values—faith, family, and loyalty.
