SZA is clapping back at Nicki Minaj after being dragged online by the “Anaconda” rapper—and now she’s coming with alleged receipts.
The drama started when Nicki took aim at SZA on X (formerly Twitter), apparently upset that the “Snooze” singer inserted herself into a situation involving Nicki’s former manager and Top Dawg Entertainment (TDE) president, Punch. Things quickly escalated, with Nicki mocking SZA’s appearance—calling out her faux freckles and weight—and even questioning her vocal abilities.
SZA didn’t stay quiet for long. In a direct response to Nicki’s insults, she tweeted, “I don’t give a f*** bout none of that weird s*** you popping.”
TDE’s Punch also chimed in, telling Loren Larosa that he was confused about why Nicki came for SZA in the first place. He speculated it might’ve been triggered by a denied feature request.
Nicki continued throwing shots, calling SZA a “fake girl’s girl.” That’s when SZA doubled down—this time, with alleged evidence.
“Nicki… You absolutely know my music and what I contribute cause you’ve asked for features twice to no response,” SZA posted. “In addition to rapping my lyrics on ‘Feelin’ Myself’—‘Cooking up the bass looking like a kilo’? Lol ur having a moment.. I’m not sure why, but be blessed.”
SZA even posted a screenshot of a text thread between Nicki and someone from her team. In the exchange, Nicki allegedly asked, “Is SZA recording right now? Got this hook I think she would be dope on.” The messages appear to show Nicki following up by sending over a song file.
