R&B singer Trey Songz is under investigation following an alleged physical altercation with a videographer outside a nightclub in Huntington, New York — and the incident appears to have been caught on camera.
TMZ obtained footage of the early Sunday morning (July 13) incident, which took place at The Ivy. According to videographer Isaa Mansoor, he was hired by the venue's owner to film Trey Songz's arrival and appearance.
Things reportedly escalated outside the club, where a woman can be heard yelling at the singer. As the situation grew tense, Mansoor repositioned himself to capture a better angle. He claims that as Trey stormed away from the scene, he suddenly turned on him — allegedly punching him in the side of the head, slamming him into a wall, and destroying two of his cameras.
The Ivy's owner can be heard on the footage trying to de-escalate the situation, reportedly telling Songz, "That's my guy," in defense of Mansoor. According to Mansoor, Trey responded aggressively, saying, "I don't give a f***," while allegedly getting in the owner's face with a clenched fist.
Mansoor says he was later taken to the hospital, where he was diagnosed with a concussion, ankle pain, and a migraine. He was prescribed pain medication and has since filed a police report, triggering an active investigation into the incident.
