Pusha T and No Malice recently joined Bootleg Kev to discuss their long-awaited Clipse album, Let God Sort Em Out. But beyond the music, Pusha also addressed his personal fallout with Kanye West, offering rare insight into what led to their strained relationship.

During the interview, Bootleg Kev brought up Pusha T’s 2022 album It’s Almost Dry, which was co-produced by both Kanye and Pharrell. He then asked if there was a specific moment that triggered the rift between Pusha and Ye.

Pusha pointed to Kanye’s Atlanta listening sessions for Donda as a turning point. According to him, it wasn’t a dramatic blow-up—but rather, a clash of values and communication.

"I have opinions and I speak my opinions," Pusha said. "I feel like when I speak my opinion and it doesn't match, I think we kinda fell out there. I'm never not going to speak my opinion, so I'm like, 'This isn't going to work 100%.'"

Though he didn’t go into deep detail, Pusha’s comments reflect his reputation for being unapologetically honest—even when it creates tension with long-time collaborators.
