Katt Williams recently addressed fellow comedian Ali Siddiq during an appearance on the 7PM in Brooklyn podcast with Carmelo Anthony, responding to comments Ali made months earlier on the same platform.

Back then, Ali revealed that he took issue with Katt for allegedly refusing to let him open one of his shows. He also said he felt disrespected by the snub and believed he was owed an apology.

Katt acknowledged that he understood where Ali was coming from emotionally—but made it clear he didn’t recall the situation or even having a personal relationship with him.

“Let’s be very clear. I just said I didn’t remember the guy,” Katt explained. “So I said, I don’t know the guy, right? And then other comedians showed me pictures where I am around the guy. He is in the same room as me… Most of his story is fictitious.”

Katt continued, “Maybe I’m too old. I feel like if I don’t have your number and you don’t have mine—if we never exchanged numbers—then n****, I don’t know you. So, I didn’t have any amends I was trying to make.”

He then doubled down, saying not only is he not apologizing, but he feels he’s the one who’s been wronged.

“No, n****, I am not apologizing,” he stated. “I am the person being crossed in this situation—not vice versa. I’m not sure what he said, but whatever it was, it didn’t involve me doing something to him or going against the code.”
