Part 3: Sammy the Bull Worked w/ Diddy Lawyer Anthony Ricco After His Lawyer Charged w/ Terrorism
Part 1: Sammy the Bull on Diddy Beating RICO Charge, Pleading Guilty to RICO Himself
--------
Sammy "The Bull" Gravano discussed the gravity of the charges he faced under the RICO Act. Gravano was involved in organized crime activities alongside John Gotti, which included four murders and several conspiracy charges. He acknowledged that the accusations encompassed severe crimes such as murder conspiracy, though he was not charged with tax evasion. Gravano was convicted under the RICO statute but managed to avoid life sentences by cooperating with authorities.
During his conversation with Vlad, Gravano explained his cooperation agreement, which was crucial in suspending his sentencing. He made it clear that while he assisted law enforcement, he refused to testify against his family or crew. Under his deal, the prosecution agreed not to indict certain individuals pivotal to Gravano’s activities. This cooperation ensured he avoided multiple life sentences, a fate he admitted was virtually guaranteed had he not cooperated. Gravano confirmed that, beyond the agreed two-year period of cooperation, he ceased assisting the government.
