Big Sean is setting the record straight after a shirtless photo of him went viral and sparked rumors that he had undergone surgery to get ab implants.
The speculation picked up steam after Instagram user @thenutritionnarc posted a video reacting to the photo and questioning whether the rapper's abs were natural. The clip caught Big Sean’s attention, and he decided to respond directly to the rumors.
"Bro, unfortunately mine are real lol,” Sean wrote. “I got love for the fake an [ab implant] community tho, to each its own. But what makes this funnier is this is the way God made me. I just happen to look like a chewed up Tootsie Roll when I’m outta shape lol. But I can only speak for myself. I only have to say something ‘cause this s*** is getting way outta hand 😂.”
In addition to the public comment, Big Sean also DM'd @thenutritionnarc, sharing that his body “has gone through a lot” over the years. When asked whether he thought Drake’s abs were real, Sean played it cool and declined to comment, saying he’s only focused on himself.
While some fans may still debate, Big Sean made it clear he’s staying unbothered—and all natural.
