Comedian Aries Spears did not hold back his thoughts on Will Smith’s latest freestyle rap. The dialogue largely centered around a diss that aimed at Chris Rock, which Spears described as “cringy.” Vlad and Spears discussed how Smith, at 56, tried to channel younger rap styles, but fell flat, with Spears jesting that it resembled a midlife crisis. Spears further commented that even though Smith admitted to channeling classic rap styles, like that of Rakim, his recent performances failed to capture the essence and respect he once commanded.
