Comedian Aries Spears is going viral after making a controversial joke about Dr. Umar Johnson during a recent interview with VladTV.
While discussing the federal charges Diddy is facing, DJ Vlad brought up speculation that President Donald Trump might pardon the embattled music mogul. Spears responded sarcastically, saying Trump is only pardoning “rappers and gangsters, not evolutionists.” When Vlad followed up by asking which “evolutionists” should be pardoned, Spears deflected the question, joking, “That’s something you’d have to ask Dr. Umar.”
The conversation quickly took a turn when Spears added, “I’d have sex with a white girl on top of Dr. Umar Johnson while eating a ham sandwich”—a line that quickly caught fire online.
Dr. Umar wasted no time responding. He reposted the clip on social media and wrote, “Why must we go on non-Afrikan platforms and disrespect ourselves this way?”
