India Love recently sat down with Complex’s Speedy Morman for a candid conversation about growing up in the spotlight, being one of the internet’s earliest influencers, and her latest shift into streaming.
With over a decade in the public eye, Speedy asked India around the 25-minute mark about her most financially rewarding venture to date. Without hesitation, she named OnlyFans. While the platform proved to be a major income source, India revealed she ultimately shut down her page due to how it was perceived in professional settings.
“It definitely was lucrative,” she admitted. “But I just felt like I didn’t like going into these bigger meetings, and once they hear the words ‘OnlyFans,’ they kind of just turn the cheek or, like, they have a certain perspective about you—even though my OnlyFans content was very tasteful, it was very artsy.”
She went on to clarify that her page focused more on creativity than shock value. “I did it magazine-style mostly. I was very into making it look like art rather than raunchy,” she said. “It benefited me very well, but at the same time, I just am in a different phase in my life.”
