Trey Songz is making headlines once again after a video surfaced online showing the R&B star in a heated confrontation with an unidentified man. In the viral clip, the “Bottoms Up” singer can be heard exchanging words and even threatening physical violence.
“I ain’t gonna shake your hand,” the man tells Trey in the video. The singer quickly fires back, “And you ain’t gon’ do s*** either, like I told you.” When the man calls Trey a “py,” the singer snaps, warning, “I’ll beat the s out of you right now.”
The footage has reignited conversation around Trey Songz’s behavior, as it comes just months after boxing champion Terence “Bud” Crawford claimed he nearly choked out the singer during a celebrity basketball game.
Speaking on Cigar Talk, Crawford recalled the tense moment: “I don’t know if dude was drunk or something, but he just started tripping. He was like, ‘I don’t care if you the world champion.’ I’m like, ‘Is he serious?’ I think he might be on drugs or something. So I said, ‘Man, I’ll take you in the back and make you cry, make you scream. What is you talking about?’”
Crawford said it was 50 Cent who ultimately diffused the situation—something Fif later confirmed with a humorous Instagram post. “This is true,” he wrote. “Trey ain’t no sucker, he will fight anybody. I just saw it was Bud and said, this [ninja emoji] could beat up everybody here if we jumped him. You dumb motherf***er, what you wanna fight him for? The R&B [ninja emoji] gotta go! LOL.”
With a history of altercations and legal run-ins, this latest video only adds to the scrutiny surrounding Trey Songz—and fans are wondering if more details will emerge.
