Chris Brown appeared at Southwark Crown Court in central London on Friday (June 20), where he pleaded not guilty to a charge of grievous bodily harm with intent stemming from an alleged nightclub assault in 2023.
The R&B singer, who is currently on tour in Europe, was arrested in May but later released after posting a $6.7 million bond.
Also pleading not guilty was rapper Omololu Akinlolu, known professionally as "Hoody Baby." Both men face accusations of attacking music producer Abe Diaw at Tape, a high-profile nightclub located in London’s upscale Mayfair district.
In addition to the grievous bodily harm charge, Brown faces one count of assault and another for possession of an offensive weapon. He is expected to enter a plea on those charges at a future court date.
