Fat Joe is at the center of serious controversy following the emergence of a 157-page lawsuit filed by his former hype man, Terrance “T.A.” Dixon. The lawsuit, filed on June 20, 2025, in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, contains disturbing allegations, including claims that the Bronx rapper ordered hits on fellow artists and committed years of sexual abuse.
One of the most startling accusations involves Fat Joe allegedly ordering a hit on 50 Cent during the winter of 2006 or 2007. According to Dixon, Joe learned that 50 Cent was at a New York venue and instructed his associates to take him out. However, Dixon claims the alleged hit was aborted when 50's security detail—described as "Navy SEALS"—intimidated the would-be attackers.
Dixon also claims that Fat Joe ordered retaliation against DMX following an altercation involving one of Joe’s associates. Dixon says he was tasked with confronting the late rapper, but the situation never escalated because DMX reportedly refused to come outside.
The lawsuit takes an even darker turn with Dixon alleging that Fat Joe forced him to perform over 4,000 sexual acts and accuses the rapper of engaging in sexual activity with minors—claims that, if proven, would have criminal implications.
Fat Joe has fiercely denied all allegations through his attorney, high-profile lawyer Joe Tacopina, who called the claims “complete fabrications” and a “desperate attempt to extort” the rapper. “We are confident this lawsuit will be dismissed in its entirety,” Tacopina stated.
As of now, no criminal charges have been filed, and the case remains in civil court. The disturbing nature of the allegations and Fat Joe’s strong denial have sent shockwaves through the hip-hop community, with many awaiting further developments.
