Diddy's federal trial continued on Monday (June 16), with new evidence presented that shed light on his controversial past relationship with longtime ex-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura.
Among the materials shown in court were text messages exchanged between the Bad Boy mogul and Cassie in 2013. In one message, Diddy allegedly asked Cassie if she was "horny." After she responded affirmatively, he followed up with, "Would you wanna celebrate Christmas and have a freak-off tonight or Friday?"
DeLeassa Penland, a special agent with the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York, took the stand as a summary witness. She reviewed an evidence chart that tracked alleged “freak-offs” between Sean Combs and Cassie from 2009 to 2017.
The chart included a wide range of documentation — from hotel bookings and bank statements to flight itineraries and text messages — all allegedly used to coordinate meetings at specific locations. Jurors were also shown travel and credit card records that prosecutors say demonstrate Diddy financed these encounters.
Cassie was frequently listed on private flight logs, often alongside a male escort who, according to the prosecution, took part in the alleged sexual encounters.
