Charisse Mills, singer and current wife of Las Vegas rapper Luce Cannon, sparked online controversy after publicly claiming that Luce had been stabbed while in custody at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Los Angeles.

Mills posted a YouTube video that included audio from a phone call with an MDC employee, who allegedly confirmed that Luce had been attacked by five Hispanic inmates. In the video’s caption, Charisse wrote, "We do not condone any violence and support all. This is NOT a race issue nor intended to divide the Blacks and Browns. This is a call I received yesterday and I still have not heard from Luce Cannon. I call and they do not tell you anything."

Shortly after, Charisse shared an update, stating, “The attorney has verified that Luce Cannon was medically treated for a knife wound 6/10/25.”

Luce Cannon, whose legal name is reportedly Luce Curtis, is one of 19 individuals indicted under the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO) as part of a sweeping federal investigation known as Operation Draw Down. In March 2025, a Los Angeles grand jury unsealed a 43-count indictment against Eugene “Big U” Henley Jr. and others alleged to be members or associates of the Rollin’ 60s Neighborhood Crips. The charges include murder, extortion, robbery, fraud, human trafficking, and crimes linked to an unlicensed marijuana dispensary. Prosecutors describe the group as a “mafia-like” enterprise referred to as the Big U Enterprise.

As the news of Luce's alleged stabbing spread across social media, fans began questioning the credibility of Charisse’s claims—especially after Luce Cannon’s estranged wife, Gigi, publicly disputed the story.

In her own YouTube response, Gigi flat-out denied the alleged stabbing, saying, “Y’all, the cap is real. Charisse Mills is a lie. Luce Cannon was not stabbed. Don’t believe the cap.”

The conflicting narratives have left fans divided and uncertain about what really happened behind bars. As of now, there has been no official statement from Luce Cannon or the Metropolitan Detention Center to confirm or deny the alleged incident.
